For Deepali Singhal, jewellery isn't just a passion; it is part of her lineage. Born into a family of jewellers with a rich 50-year legacy in the business, she grew up surrounded by the artistry of fine craftsmanship. Her deep admiration for heritage and design began in childhood. During museum visits, while others moved ahead, Deepali would spend extra minutes transfixed in front of the display cases, absorbing the intricate details of jewels, textiles, and art from a bygone era.
Though she pursued law by education, her creative calling eventually brought her back to her roots. To fuse her natural instincts with formal technical skill, she attended the Indian Institute of Gems and Jewellery to study the Jewellery Design Foundation.
Solv is her brainchild—the intersection of her legacy upbringing, her formal training, and her vision for the modern collector. Recognizing that traditional heirloom pieces often felt out of reach, Deepali founded Solv to make historic craftsmanship accessible.
