Every Solv piece is handcrafted using solid 925 sterling silver, hand-set gemstones, and signature gold plating. Like any piece of jewellery, normal wear and tear over time—such as subtle plating softening or tiny surface marks—is a natural part of a well-loved piece's story.

However, a little intentional care goes a long way in preserving its original brilliance for decades to come.

The 4 Golden Rules of Care

The Last On, First Off Rule Always put your jewellery on after applying perfume, hairspray, lotions, makeup, or hand sanitiser. Harsh chemicals can dull the stone's fire and accelerate plating wear.

Keep It Away From Moisture Remove your jewellery before showering, swimming, exercising, or washing hands. Moisture and sweat can cause silver to tarnish prematurely and affect the delicate foil backing beneath the stones.

Store Airtight & Separate Precious metals react with air and ambient humidity. When not in wear, store each piece individually in its original airtight Solv pouch or box to prevent scratches and tarnishing.

Gentle Cleaning Only After each wear, gently wipe your piece with a soft microfibre cloth to remove natural skin oils. Never use liquid chemical cleaners, harsh soaps, or abrasive brushes, as these can ruin the Jadau setting and gold foil lining.
